In the Footsteps of Gods & Heroes:

The exhibition will compare and contrast the image of Clytie as painted by Frederic, Lord Leighton, one of Victorian England's leading artists, with work by contemporary artist David Brooke. Visitors will journey through a landscape of myth and legend that dates from Classical times to the present day...

All of David's colourful and imaginative works will be available to purchase.

Museums at Night: Dashwood: Father and Son

Friday 18 May open until 9pm

Museums at Night is the national annual after hours celebration when museums, galleries, libraries, archives and heritage sites open their doors for special evening events.

Come and see the pop-up exhibition Dashwood: Father and Son. The show features work from leading contemporary bird and wildlife sculptor, Geoffrey Dashwood, and his son Leo Dashwood, a photographer who specialises in the human form.

Geoffrey Dashwood will be present and signing copies of his book.

This talk coincides with the exhibition Marcus Adams: Royal Photographer. Photographs from the Royal Collection which runs from  29 June – 16 September 2012.
